| I saw this production too! I distinctly remember sitting on an aisle, and after the Pirate King's song in the first scene, the actors dismantled the pirate ship and carried it up various aisles. Two actors carried the main mast on their shoulders up the aisle, but a jam of exiting actors slowed their exit. They were followed by Doug Sheehan (who was then playing Joe Kelly on General Hospital - the age of Luke and Laura!), and he was distractedly acknowledging fans as he was running up the dark aisle himself. In the dark, he did not see that the mast had stalled, and he ran, face first, into the bottom of the stalled mast! OUCH! |
