I’m watching Dolly on the Rachael Ray show looking amazing at 76. Was she ever approached to do a musical, including Hello, Dolly?

A friend of mine who worked on Annie Get Your Gun said they had offered the role to her but she didn't want to do eight shows a week. Also she didn't want to spend six months in New York. I think she would have been terrific.
