I saw it during the pre-Broadway tryout in Philadelphia. I was going to school there, and coming back from a family visit on the day the box office opened, and asked my parents drop me off in front of the Forrest Theater. Just couldn’t let that opportunity slip away.
But I have to agree: All I remember is Katherine Hepburn yelling at Dorothy Loudon, “YOU MISSED THE BOAT!”
At least I have that—a phrase I employ to this day, much to the consternation of my husband. |
