| Los Angeles also had the Million Dollar Movie, it was on RKO-owned channel 9. That's how I discovered DAMN YANKEES, which I would watch as many times that week as I could! I recall it was Monday-Friday at 8PM and twice on Saturday and Sunday. Turns out several of my friends discovered it the same way--it must have been the brief clip they showed of Gwen Verdon dancing and leading into the belt on "Whatever Lola Wants". Who could possibly NOT want to tune in?!? |
