| Ncassidine, can you clarify more what the distinction is you're making? It sounds like you're saying the playwright is not responsible for communicating effectively the play's thesis, and I would disagree with that for the kind of play that I think The Minutes is. If a large segment of the audience is leaving The Minutes not understanding what the playwright is trying to say about American society, then I don't know if the playwright has been successful. |
