Sorry I disagree. I saw zero Mostel at the beginning of hisrun and I consider it one of the greatest musical comedy performances of all times he made you laugh hard and he made you cry. I found Topol miscast as he was absolutely mirthless.
The other great disappointment in film was starring Barbra Streisand in hello dolly perfectly miscast and Carol Channing gave one of the greatest performances I have ever seen on stage. I will never forget that she got 14 curtain Calls. |
