| In all the talk about "Victor/Victoria" (which I thought was a turgid bummer), it's also worth noting that "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" was a really interesting musical, with noteworthy creative people such as Graciela Daniele behind it. The show wasn't entirely successful, artistically, and it was definitely a financial failure, but it was not without merit. I wish a regional theater would take another crack at it. |
