I think it's relatively unusual to have a commercial run that's planned for only two months, though. It's hard to recoup in that time frame if you're giving away that many could-be-premium-priced tickets. Hugh Jackman's Back on Broadway and Springsteen on Broadway also did not invite Tony voters.
