| Is it contrary to established custom, considered bad form, and/or beyond what they were hired for if a director stays involved in the day-to-day running of a show that's opened? I recall a post from a while ago - probably quite a while ago - about a company taking offense when a director stayed involved. Is staying involved considered meddling? Are directors no longer part of the company and not admitted? Expect maybe for periodic check-ins? So a director would have to be asked/invited/rehired back to rehearse a new cast member? |
