| I used to be the go-to person for movie reviews at my job. When I saw Kenneth Branagh's film of Henry V and raved, several of my co-worker went see the film on my say-so, they expected modern English a la l BECKET or MAN FIR ALL SEASONS. one woman (seriously) wanted me to refund her money. i find if you let yourself "go with the flow= you can catch the drift . in HAMLET film, Olivier changed "I'll make a ghost of him who lets me to 'him who hinders me. Julian Fellowes wrote a script for a film of ROMEO AND JULIET and changed all the dialgue to UNDERSTANDABLE\ PROSE and it was g-d awful |
