I saw the film of Funny Girl on Amazon Prime last night. I got sucked in after my second martini. To think it was nominated for best film. OV
I've seen it before and it has some great moments, but I think the great moments are great because of the why it was film not the material itself.
I have to say, we need a great revival of Funny Girl that include the roller skating. Don't add the film elements. Create more of a fantasy. I wish they had included Baby Snooks too. Did Fanny not do Baby Snooks until after her divorce from Nick?
Question to all the fans and knowledgeable people here. In the film version Nick get's Fanny $100 a week but in the film it's $50. Why? |
