I’ve seen about eight Richards, live and filmed, and my hands-down favorite was Armin Shimerman in a semi-staged reading of the entire play. RICHARD III often get cut-down. Shimerman and a great cast at Antaeus did the whole thing; they were contemplating doing a full production some day. I am sorry they didn’t ever do it.
