| Relatives of mine recently went to see Most Happy Fella at WTF at $80 a ticket and were so amazingly disappointed at what they saw. It seemed like a slap-dash attempt to do an Encores-style presentation without the flair or creative knowledge of the piece they said. I gushed about how this Frank Leosser score was one of my favorites and they said it didn't seem like the entire thing, running about an hour and a half or so. I myself, listened to a snippet that was posted online and was suprised to hear female voices singing "Standin" On The Corner". Huh? |
