Aside from Springsteen on Broadway I can't remember the last time a Broadway show did this, at least for a musical that wasn't a sung-through poperetta like "Sunset Boulevard". Even Hamilton and Rent left some brief music off the album, and other shows with double-CDs like In the Heights didn't record much of the book.
What you're proposing sounds more like a job for Jay Records, who I imagine will record it in the next few years for release in 2047 or 2048. |
