Not trying to be mean, but what is the point of this release? Is there any news here? Maybe I missed some speculation that the mask requirement was going back into affect or something.
Also, just my opinion, but a release that says masks are optional but also “strongly encouraged” will only antagonize people on all sides.
It’s pretty clear at this point that unless masks are required and the requirement is enforced, they will only be worn by people who want to wear them — to protect others and themselves — and will not be worn by those who don’t share that ethic.
So, why antagonize people on both sides with a release that essentially says “do whatever you want”, but also “we hope you’ll do this specific thing”? |
