I have always wanted to know this, and been mad about it. I think it's beautiful musically and necessary to the show. I'm so glad it made it onto the cast album.
I know the show was/remains long... but cutting this very short section saves nothing.
This cut and the other half of the Witches Lament... which totals I think 90 seconds? ... were extremely bad cuts, and big losses for the score and show. |
