Fun Home was a commercial success on Broadway. An American in Paris was an entertaining, expensive commercial failure which had a respectable run on Broadway. It had some good things in it, particularly the performances of Rob Fairchild, Leanne Cope, and others.
Fun Home has become one of the most produced Broadway musicals in the Chicago area since Seussical. I've seen 3 local productions at various theaters (all in the city), and there is another production coming up soon at the Copley in North Aurora. |
