| I think the song is great fun and makes in interested in the show. But I do have a question about the use of the lyric of the postman ringing twice when the James Cain novel "The Postman Always Rings Twice" wasn't written until 1934 and the show (presumably) takes place before that because it's based on the moved set during Prohibition which ended in 1933. And to get even more technical about it, an ice man would not come to "stock my Frigidaire" because I believe you didn't need the ice man any more if you had a Frigidaire! Just nitpicking but a little research (which is my side hustle) goes a long way. Thanks. |
