| It's been in the works for a few years & while it felt to me a very obvious way to comment on the founding patriarchy with gender bent casting, I don't think even the creative team predicted how prescient it would be to present an alt-take on the authorship of one of our founding documents as our current Supreme Court is providing an "alt-take" of their own on another. Would I rather an original work tell the story? Yes. But I'm not the artist behind it. That being said, BRING ON A DRAG DREAMGIRLS! Brilliant idea!!! |
