When my kids were in college, they had some friends who were involved in shadowcasts of the films THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW and HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. Their pals and others dressed in costumes from the shows (that’s certainly nothing new; I pointed out to them I was dressing as Magenta even before all the “audience participation” stuff got established for RHPS,), and acted out the show on side stages as the film screened.
I suggested doing a shadowcast of 1776 during our annual viewing on July 4th, and said, “I dibs Stephen Hopkins!” but for some reason, my loving offspring squashed this suggestion.
