| Jerry and Joe are also taking away jobs that could go to female performers. I would say that Michael Dorsey, Daniel Hilliard, Jerry, and Joe are all desperate men, who for various reasons are disguising themselves as women. We (as an audience) sympathize with all 4 of them for different reasons. I think that it's important to remember that all 3 shows are just screwball comedies. It's not real life. No woman is being deprived of a job. The audience is in the theater to have a good time. |
