The '49 On the Town film kept...parts of 2 ballets
Well, only in the most general sense. My description of the ballet music in the film has always been that they must have thrown all the pages of the score high into the air, and picked some of them up randomly, as they landed, to be in the film. it's all a terrible mistreatment of Bernstein's music.
