| Where have you seen him dance besides this production of Funny Girl? I would think he demonstrates enough talent to be given a shot at the role. When I saw him in Funny Girl, the charisma he displayed reminded me immediately of Gregory Hines. Yes he displayed no fury nor pain. The part does not call for that. It would have been totally misplaced though perhaps interesting in the bland mishmash that is this revival. (At least Music Man with Sutton Foster is not bland) I woul dlove to see what someone who grew up tapping on the subway could do with the part. |
