| The KCH are the most baffling "awards" show. It's all over the map how they chose people. Of course every single person is going to have their favorites and sometimes there is just no rhyme or reason as to how these people are picked. I agree you would think by now that Liza would have been honored. I think the devil is in the rules. How lay people vote or don't vote. Or, the show being a tv show, the people being chosen must have a kind of entertaining segment somehow. Although, what they will do for George Clooney I don't know. When I was a kid, and I am dating myself, the kinds of people honored were always these huge aging stars. So, hearing that Amy Grant ( who's music I enjoy) getting one is questionable for me. Over the years, there was a change apparently in the management of the KCH and the power they wielded also figured into the list I heard. Again, we all have our favorites and unfortunately I don't think that matters. Just my 2 cents. |
