Just for the record, this opera also stars Joyce Di Donato as Virginia Woolf, the role that won Nicole Kidman the Oscar.
And, unless rules have changed, staged(and otherwise?)opera is theater and discussion has been allowed on this site.
Di Donato may not be as known to the general public as O'Hara and Fleming are but she is the real deal: an opera star with a great voice--and not a bad actress either. |
