| Thanks! CMIYC is just really special to me. As we get less original scores, I treasure them more. Although many are not that great, so to be both original AND wondeful is a real selling point for me. I saw the show twice and I get why it didn't work for many, but I adore it. It gets heavy play on the earbuds. In addition to being exciting on its own terms, it also reminds me a bit of City of Angels (which I LOVE). I like jazz worked into a show's score. It's also one of the last books of sheet music I bought from a Broadway show, although it's a little too hard for me to play on the piano. But I try! |
