| Just like Dramedy I 've been cruising along for 2.5 years with masks and vaccines and never dining inside a restaurant and even flying masked to Florida and St Louis and seeing a few shows and a lot of dance everyone masked. I'd promised my grandson a trip to Paris before the Pandemic -- yada, yada, yada. Felt pretty confident in Feb, 2022 and rebooked the trip for June. Great time. At Paris Opera and at a Piano Concert everyone in Masks. But that was it. Luckily the Covid test restriction was lifted the week before our return. I was slightly befuddled and confused on the flight home -- wearing a mask. Chills the night back in NYC, home tested, Covid -- no fever, no sore throat, stuffy -- didn't test negative for 2 weeks, but felt fine (that would have been two weeks extra in Paris at my expense). Now in Florida and NO ONE in masks except clerks in Publix -- I'm wearing mine except for swims and birding (which is great ... 90 in Ft Lauderdale is normal and fun). I've been teaching my chem classes and labs !! on line at CUNY, but was told I could still give my lectures on line, but labs are in person -- I'm 75, so still contemplating my plans. |
