| I saw the original cast. They were fine. Often funny. BUT, through no fault of their own, they just couldn’t compare to the film originals. I don’t want to see anyone but Teri Garr and Gene Wilder do the “revolving bookcase” bit. The entire musical was very competent. And the cast was great. I just would have had a better time renting the movie for $5 and staying home. |
