Some of Hitchcock's films are both spoofs of film noir and film noir movies themselves, like Strangers on a Train, which is filled with sly humor.
Mel Brooks' High Anxiety is essentially a spoof of Hitchcock's Spellbound plus bits and pieces from other Hitchock films. There is actually a character in High Anxiety named MacGuffin. |
