| Will have to try to find the recording of CARMELINA...I love him in THE BAKER'S WIFE recording, & was so moved to read how he had used yet another talent of his to sculpt a statue of Jason Miller who wrote THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON. It still stands as a tribute to him, I think in a park in Miller's hometown. I too would have loved to have seen Sorvino onstage. He brings a deep compassion and sadness to his wonderful work on LAW & ORDER, and I recently saw CRUISING again and was moved by the details he brought to his role in that. May he sing as much as his heart desires in Heaven. | |

| I saw him in the 2006 production of THE MOST HAPPY FELLA at NYCO. I remember quite enjoying his performance. Sadly, I don't recall much else. It wasn't the best production. | |

| After starting this thread last night, I came across the recording of Paul Sorvino singing "It's Time for a Love Song" from Carmelina (preceded by Georgia Brown's Prayer) that someone just posted yesterday. Just gorgeous. | |

| I love his singing in both The Baker's Wife and Carmelina. Unfortunately, I never saw him on stage, but I greatly admire his film and TV work. | |

| Still online via All Arts &/or youtube is the 1974 KING LEAR in which Sorvino plays Gloucester to James Earl Jones' Lear! Forgot - I had watched it during lockdown & it's a thrill to attend a Delacorte production from that legendary time. All do magnificent work!!! | |
