Kindly knock off your ridiculous dime store assessment of me. Stop ascribing motivations and theories to me that are patently false and simply further your own laughable agenda of inventing things about a show that you NEVER saw being performed on Broadway.
Fact: Unlike you, I don't have to imagine what Young Frankenstein was like on Broadway. I saw the show.
Fact: I didn’t say that anyone in the show gave less than a “quite capable performance.” Your claim that I’m hinting at such a thing is ludicrous.
Fact: There are many posters on All That Chat who DID see the show on Broadway. They’ve pretty much said the same thing: there wasn’t a great performance and most of the cast suffered in comparison with people who were in the movie.
Fact: These posters directly contradict your completely “out of left field” theory that the show had an ideal cast.
Fact: most intelligent musical theatre fans don’t judge what a show was actually like by listening to a CD. They’re acutely aware that a cast recording is dramatically different than a show that was on stage. |
