The production sounds like a lot of fun to have been in.

It really was a lot of fun, as well as being a great production. Apparently, Lincoln Center Theater was considering transferring it to New York, but did not due to the size of the cast.

It was a whole education in itself to be in a rehearsal room with Blair Brown and able to watch her work.

Well that was fantastic, thanks. A real freak-out of a take on the play. It made me look up the career of the director Jack Landau whose career was cut short by a violent murder... two years after the making of this film.
