| Any chance or rumors this show will now go on tour? I think audiences in California have been slower getting back to live theatre than East Coast. I saw both the original 2-part and the revised one-part show in NYC. Hope it comes to Chicago. |

| To another city like LA for a long run. I assume a tour production would need a different set that can be built and taken down quickly. | |

| Could be wrong, but I wouldn't bet on LA. When discussions were happening before it opened in SF, LA was ruled out because it didn't have a venue intimate enough to satisfy the creative team. They want total immersion. Because of that, and the costs of completely redoing the venue (and the expectation of having to return it to normal when the show's run ends), I'm not sure it'll transfer anywhere. They might move the set somewhere for an international run, but I'll be SHOCKED if they try to reopen anywhere else in the US. The show didn't just flop in SF - it bombed, and it was flopping even before the Pandemic hit tbh. Again, could be wrong - but I can't imagine them moving it anywhere else, at least not LA. Chicago is probably too close to NYC/Toronto as well. Not many other US markets that can sustain open end runs. I kind of wonder if there was a stop clause like in NYC and Carole kicked them out to get control of the theatre back (ATG's management contract was for the duration of this run, which they'd hoped would be longer). |

| I realize that they’re different audiences, but LA’s Geffen Theatre has announced a production of “The Inheritance,” in two parts, beginning in September and opening early October. Bill, still traveling, now in Munich |

| Also, the magic and the automation on the show is really quite dangerous and requires extensive tech and prepping, so touring seems unlikely. | |
