I saw Tootsie twice in Chicago (I kept winning the lottery) and enjoyed it, but felt it had a very weak ending -- mainly because the plot was switched from a soap opera to a Broadway musical.
I also saw The Cher Show in Chicago, but didn't care for it. It ran for 9-1/2 months on Broadway, but probably lost a ton of money.
