I was surprised to see that Leavel does not get the last bow. I know it's Andy's story. But Leavel has what should be the star part. I believe Streep was nominated for Best Lead Actress (and won the GG). Look, when I was in Harold & Maude two decades ago, it's absolutely Harold's story (especially in that production) but yes, of course, Estelle Parsons gets the final bow. Maude is the star role. Seems it should be the same thing here.
