| Just found this 65 minute film accidentally on YouTube. Music by Billy Rose. Interesting plot, how an entertainer helps to manage a boxer….. uhh, The Main Event film inspiration? Also, near the beginning, the boxer tells Fanny, “you know, you’re a funny girl.” Also there’s a big production number called “Kickin a Hole in the Sky” and I could help but think of ‘Great Day’ from Funny Lady. |
