As I'm sure we all have, I've seen many iterations of Fiddler, but none of them grabbed me emotionally the way this production did, which I saw in both of its NYC venues. I urged many friends to go, and they all reported back with similar feelings.
And added to the news is the fact that Steven Skybell will again be playing Tevye. Until I saw his performance, I thought that Herschel Bernardi had been the best I've seen, but IMO Skybell topped his performance. |
