|I thought the same thing but it's good to have an unexpected choice in casting sometimes. Nathan Lane wasn't a typical Nathan Detroit when he was cast in the role. Lane's no Sinatra. But then he became the type everyone wanted to cast. And who would've thought of Walter Bobbie for Nicely Nicely? When I watched them on the Tonys, my eye wandered to Sabella, wondering why he wasn't playing the role. Anyway, it can be very effective to play against type. We'll see. I didn't like him all that much in Aladdin but he won a Tony!|
