| Sitting here watching FG on Prime Video while glancing at this page from the Barbra Archives. Great behind the scenes info. The Ziegfeld -“His Love Makes Me Beautiful” is such a splashy fun moment, it’s too bad the current production chose not to put more cash into the show to feature it. After watching a few Brice films on YouTube lately, Streisand really did get Brice’s stage schtick nailed down. By the way, filming began 55 years ago this week! | |

| These are wonderful. Special fondness for these stills, since the late Lee Allen (replacement Eddie B'way, film) and his wife Libby were my landlords in NYC for 7 years in the 80s. Great stories, if brief (no dish). "I only did it with Barbra." | |

| The starry 2002 Actor's fund concert recreated the Bride number..so much fun ....if they had a dozen more people onstage in this production(and yes, spent more money) they could have too Do we know if anything at all will change for Lea? New costumes or wigs? Will she(and Julie on Thursdays) get to finish MUSIC THAT MAKES ME DANCE? |

| Not that they will do it, if they threw another $500-750K into the Lea version, I would guess that it could run a solid year and maybe a tour. It needs more Ziegfeld. | |

| It would be smart for Lea to tour with it. Really connect with her fans who will then want to fly to NYC to see her next show. | |
