| I agree with your take on the show, however Mr. James would have been ineligible anyway since he didn't open the Broadway version of the show, doing Shrek instead. Similarly, he didn't transfer with Hamilton in favor of Something Rotten. Like Linda Lavin, he is a terrifically talented performer who leaves award-winning roles for others in his wake. |
