I loved him in Into the Woods. Pretty perfect casting, as far I'm concerned. I have to admit, 'No More' is one of the few Sondheim songs I more admire than love and, inevitably, is one I skip when listening to recordings, but I was utterly transfixed by his performance of the song last week.
I've only seen him live in one other role, in The Ferryman, in which I thought he was spectacular. |
