| I, too, have always been a fan of THE HAPPY TIME; the score is a beauty, and Goulet, Wayne, and Rupert were all terrific. The show wasn't perfect, but I always found the songs and the story combine to make THE HAPPY TIME a very touching musical, with a genuine warmth. Would love to see Encores do this show. |

| I've never seen this show, but among my favorite Kander & Ebb songs are ''The Happy Time,'' ''I Don't Remember You'' and ''A Certain Girl.'' | |

| Those three songs are among my favorites. Another one is "Walking Among My Yesterdays." I don't recall how this happened, but I definitely went backstage and met Goulet in his dressing room after the show. I didn't have any connections that would get me backstage, but have the vague recollection that he was doing that on occasions. Several other people were there and he was quite pleasant to everyone. |
