| That review feels overly generous to me. "Thoroughly pleasant' felt boring to me. I received a marketing survey from the theater trying to figure out who this show if for. One of the questions was about being gay. I found that amusing. I know that seems like an obvious target audience, but I don't think they should count on it in this case. I think the only viable audience is the infrequent theater going "girls night out" groups. My sense from what I've seen on social media (and the audience when I attended,) is that they may have found it "thoroughly pleasant." |
