| And yet your complaint is exactly one of the things I love about this art form. I have missed plenty of performances I really wanted to see. And I’ve seen a bunch of things I made sure to make a priority. But I think the temporary nature of theatre is beautiful. I’m sad I’ll never see the original production of Follies. But it also holds a mythical/magical place in my mind and heart because I have to use my imagination to envision it. Just my two cents. And you WILL be able to hear her on the original cast recording when that comes out. |
