I too hope it returns to Broadway. Interesting that there is no mention of any Broadway producers, as I think one would expect if it was targeting Broadway. I saw an industry presentation of Carlyle's production which I know was aiming for Broadway, with Jerry Goehring as lead producer. He produced A Christmas Story The Musical and Be More Chill. About a year before I saw a full production in DC with some rewrites. I especially liked that they placed The Girl I Mean To Be during one of the garden sequences in act one instead of at the top of act two. It made me realize how much Mary needed a song---and this expression of her "I want"---earlier in the show.
