| For what it's worth... I think the concept of adding tap, let alone a tap-off, is also to show off Sutton's talent as a dancer, and perhaps in some way to balance that she doesn't actually have the appropriate voice for the role, so they'll let audiences see her bringing even more to the role than what it requires. |
