From Shakespeare to Molière to da Ponte, it is the wise and observant servant who comments on the antics of the nobs. This fits perfectly and it is at the right moment. Send in the Clowns is, of course, a show stopper but the show ain't over. . . . JG IS WRONG.

Thank you for writing all that--so now I don't have to! ; ) I really was just about to butt in with something very much along those lines, and I'm very surprised JG doesn't seem to get it.
