| Why don’t we have a Gershwin biopic? |

The Spielberg project fell through back in 2010 and was never revived for unexplained reasons. Now, it appears Scorsese is producing a Lions Gate film called Fascinating Rhythm with John Carney directing a film using Gershwin music but not a Gershwin bio pic.
Any insight as to why no biopic? Is the Gershwin Estate a tough group to work with? |
