James Stewart probably had exposure to Stanislavski's ideas through his fellow Princeton student Joshua Logan who went in person to Russia to see Stanislavski's productions while he was still in college. Stewart later said that Logan "gave him his acting career".
I love The Shop Around the Corner too. |
