No problem. I forgot to mention that Mercury Theater in Chicago still checks vax cards and requires masks. My partner and I saw Priscilla, Queen of the Desert there a little over a week ago -- it was quite entertaining and worth seeing -- it runs through Sept. 11th.
BTW, Woodstock Opera House (in Woodstock, IL) no longer requires masks. We saw Urinetown there a few weeks ago.
The trend seems to be masks required in most theaters in Chicago and Skokie, but no masks required in the other suburban theaters.
I should probably add that when I saw Steel Magnolias at Drury Lane Oakbrook recently, although masking is optional, virtually everyone wore a mask while seated in the theater, but almost no one was masked in the lobby, bar area, and men's washroom. |
